PARKING:
Parking is available in the City Hall parking lot on 11th Street between I Street and J Street, and in the Capitol parking lot on 10th Street between K Street and L Street, for a flat rate of $5.00.
The parking structure on the north side of the Cathedral is privately owned and not affiliated with the Cathedral. The cost to park there is $15.00 and is not reimbursed by the Cathedral.
Downtown events at the Golden 1 Center and the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center can seriously affect traffic and parking. Check the SacPark website for a schedule of current events so you can plan for extra time to get to Mass and avoid congested areas. You can check out their guaranteed reserved parking as well.
Bus and Light Rail Schedules
All Light Rails run near the Cathedral, as well as several bus lines, such as the 30, 34, 38, and 51. A Single Adult fare is $2.50 or $7.00 for a Day Pass. Student and Senior rates are available. Use the Sacramento Rail Transit trip planner.
Metered Street Parking
Generally, meters and time zone regulations are not in effect on Sunday. All other parking restrictions are still enforced. Due to regulations on some streets to accommodate programs such as Residential Parking Permits (RPP), operating hours and days may vary. Always check the posted signage on the section of the block where you park.
