The Cathedral Choir facilitates the musical prayer of the assembly at the 11
A.M. Sunday Mass and special liturgies. The Choir employs a range of musical
styles
and encourages trained and untrained vocalists to apply. If you believe

The Docent Group provides guided tours of the Cathedral for parishioners

Liturgical Ministry
Liturgical Ministry members assist the
priests and deacons in the celebration of the Mass. Parishioners
who are involved in the Cathedral’s various liturgical ministries
receive support and education to help them perform their ministerial
roles. These ministries
include:
- Eucharistic
ministers
- Lectors
- Alterservers
- Ushers / greeters
Visiting the Sick
Eucharistic ministers take Communion to rest homes and the
homes of people
who cannot come to Mass.

RCIA Sponsors
The Cathedral parish has a vibrant Rite of Christian
Initiation for Adults (RCIA) program with many
candidates and catechumens. Sponsors are needed for
these candidates and catechumens to guide them
through the sacraments. If you would like to assist

St. Vincent de Paul Society
Inspired by Gospel values, the St. Vincent de Paul Society is a
Catholic lay organization that leads women and men to join together
and grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those
who are needy and suffering. The Society currently provides beds
for five homeless people every night and also provides emergency
aid
to the
downtown
poor. Over Christmas, members give out food baskets to families
in need. If you would like to become a member of the Society,

Vocations Committee
The Vocations Committee focuses
on raising parish awareness of the necessity of vocations
in the
church.

outreach programs and
prayer campaigns, the group seeks to foster
an environment that encourages youth and adults alike

Welcome back Program
The Welcome Back program focuses on establishing
open dialogue with non-practicing Catholics and on paving the way
for their return to the sacraments. While programs will be held
several times a year, volunteer staff are available for engagement
